Eco Axarquía

We are an association of local and foreign people living in the Malaga region of La Axarquía. We are producers and consumers of artisanal and ecological products.

We believe in a more sustainable and healthy life and we want to consume and produce quality local and ecological products.

OUR OBJECTIVES

One of our main objectives is to promote the small artisans, producers and processors of organic food in the region of La Axarquía. As well as, at the same time, promote access to healthier local products and ecological quality products to the general public through markets and consumer groups that avoid intermediaries and reduce our ecological footprint.

1. Encourage the production of local seasonal organic foods, as well as a form of responsible local consumption, which is more energy-efficient (km -0) with savings in storage.
    

2. Encourage the consumption of healthier and less processed local foods and local quality products for the health and well-being of consumers.
    

3. Promote the development of a sustainable agrarian system that contributes to the conservation of the environment.
    

4. Promote, protect, advise and help local artisan producers and food processors in their business development.
    

5. Promote and enable appropriate public or private spaces for the sale of products made by associates.
    

6. Promote the products produced by food producers and processors in specialized stores, catering, etc.
    

7. Support, advise and accompany in the process local producers / processors interested in making a transition to the ecological and join the association.
